Condition Options

Used WWT or One-Trip: Which Is Right for You?

Used Wind & Water Tight (WWT)

Structurally sound and guaranteed not to leak. It shows the cosmetic wear you would expect from a container that spent years in commercial shipping service: surface rust, paint chips, minor dents. The interior stays dry, the doors seal tight, and the floor is structurally solid. For a full breakdown of every grade we sell, see our container condition guide.

Best for: General storage, construction sites, farm use, any application where appearance matters less than value.

Warranty: 5 year structural and 5 year no-leak.

One-Trip (Like New)

It made a single ocean crossing from the factory and is essentially brand new. Minimal cosmetic marks from that one voyage, clean and dry interior, excellent floor condition, like-new paint. It costs more than used WWT and is the cleanest grade sold.

Best for: Conversions, food-adjacent storage, sensitive storage, anyone who wants the best-looking unit.

Warranty: 10 year structural and 10 year no-leak.

Use Cases

Ways to Use a 20ft Container in Minnesota

A 20ft container in a Minneapolis driveway can hold furniture and boxes during a remodel or a move.

It can keep lawn equipment, bikes and patio furniture out of the snow through a Minnesota winter.

On a farm, it can keep seed, parts and tools dry between planting and harvest.

A builder can lock tools and materials in it on a residential job site for the length of the project.

At a lake cabin, it can store dock sections, kayaks and outdoor gear between seasons.

A shop or restaurant can use it for overflow inventory and seasonal stock behind the building.

FAQ

20ft Container Questions

Delivery requires 110 feet of straight, unobstructed space, at least 15 feet of height for the truck to drive in and 22 feet of height along the entire unloading path, and at least 10 feet of width.
Wind and Water Tight units start at $2,465 delivered in Minneapolis. What you pay depends on the grade you choose, on what is in stock when you order and on your delivery address. Container One sets prices, and they change without notice; your written quote gives the price for your order, including delivery to your address. Prices as of October 14, 2026.
Warranty runs by grade: one-trip units carry a 10 year structural and 10 year no-leak warranty, cargo worthy and wind and water tight units carry a 5 year structural and 5 year no-leak warranty, and economy units carry a 1 year roof leak warranty.
Set the container on firm, level support under each corner casting, such as compacted gravel, concrete pads or solid timbers, with the ground sloped so water drains away. Check that it still sits level after the spring thaw, because a level container keeps its doors opening and closing freely.
